Banke. Narainapur, considered to be the worst in Banke, has become accessible in five years. Ajay Kumar Srivastava, head of the District Coordinating Committee, Banke, and Istiaq Ahmed Shah, chairman of the village municipality, laid the foundation stone of a 15-bed hospital in Jayarampurwa of Narainapur today.
Hanuman Construction Lalitpur has been given the responsibility of constructing the hospital to be built in Ward No. 4 Jayarampurwa.
Accountant Prakash Adhikari said that the construction of the hospital will be completed on September 26, 2010. An agreement has been reached for the construction of the hospital at a cost of Rs 169.751 million, the official informed Youth Today.
The village municipality has stated that a 15-bed hospital building with doctors, nursing accommodation, fireplace (canteen), mortuary, parking lot and other structures will be constructed. Chairman of the village municipality, Shah, said that they have given priority to the construction of basic hospitals with the objective of providing comfortable services to the citizens of rural areas far from the access of health services. Chairman Shah said that the hospital would provide facilities to the residents of Narainapur area far from the district headquarters.
